HCPT The Pilgrimage Trust (Group 122)
Are holding a 'St Patrick's Night Celebration' to raise funds to take eight children from York to Lourdes this Easter. This will be held at St Aelred's RC School, Fifth Ave, York, on Sat 20 March from 7.30-11.30pm. An evening of music, song & dance provided by Celtic Blend. Tickets £5 in advance (includes nibbles) from Irene Shanks, or St Aelred's School. Licensed bar. Parking on the school playground, entrance via Darnbrook Walk. Please help us to raise the funds to send the children to Lourdes - the cost per child this year is £710!

Archbishop Romero Trust
At 11am on 20 March, Cardinal Keith O'Brien of Edinburgh will lead a simple Ecumenical Service in York Minster. The Preacher will be Dr John Sentamu, Archbishop of York. Bishop Terence Drainey of Middlesbrough and the Chair of the Methodist Conference will also take part. All welcome. See poster.
Bar Convent Association: Flower Arranging Demonstration
At the Bar Convent Museum, Thur 18 March, 7.30pm. £5 at the door, inc wine and lite-bites. Everyone welcome.
Bar Convent: Volunteer Guides Needed
There are three vacancies for guides to give tours in the Bar Convent Heritage Centre. The positions are voluntary and are for 2 hours per week Mon-Sat, with occasional additional tours for up to 20 people.
