Healing Mass

The Mass will be celebrated at St Joseph's on Thursday 16 February at 2pm, the week after the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. Elderly people and those who are sick are invited to receive the Sacrament of the Sick. Please let us know if you need transport to the church. All welcome. Refreshments in the Church foyer afterwards.

Fundraising Day at St Crux

For Church funds, Thursday 15 March. Sandwiches and cakes will be on sale all day, and we hope to have a cake stall and a bric-a-brac/book stall. Lists and details later.

Christmas Picture Quiz

Congratulations to Valda Botting who comprehensively won the competition. Because of a computer glitz, only half of the "challenge" was printed.

The first three results were: Valda Botting, 129 out of 139 in the Easy Quiz and 23 in the Challenge; Neil Bowgett, 121 & 14; Iveson/Chambers, 120 & 20.

Results sheets are available today, and completed forms for participants.

Many thanks to Mick Topham for marking the forms, and to Roger Shenton for devising the quiz.

Used Postage Stamps

Thanks to all those who save these stamps. They can be left in the new box for Food for the Homeless at any time, from where they will be collected and passed on to St Leonard's Hospice. Please remember to leave a small border around each stamp, otherwise they are wasted.

Diocesan Palestine Pilgrimage: Holy Land, Holy Places, Holy People
