Love in Truth: Plenary Session

Bishop Terry extends an invitation to the whole Diocese - young people and adults alike - to join together in a special project for Lent 2010. It is entitled "Love in Truth" - the English translation of the 2009 Papal Encyclical "Caritas in Veritate" - which explores human development in the light of justice and common good.

The aim is to promote insight and understanding of recent Catholic Social teaching, by applying it to numerous contemporary issues. This is particularly pertinent with an imminent General Election. The project consists of two local sessions, then a third plenary session in York (with John Battle MP as keynote speaker) for the whole Diocese together.

Sessions 1&2 (local): St Bede's Pastoral Centre, York. 7-9pm, Wed 24 Feb, Wed 3 March.
